Glock 26 Vs Shield - The G26 was my first pistol. My love affair with Glock started with the second gun I ever bought. Fast forward four jobs, including working at a very large gun shop, and it's still one of my favorite crafts. It holds more bullets than any gun I own, but the Sig P365 could be a game changer.

Rewind to SHOT Show 2018 and the release of the Sig P365. An engineering marvel with its small size and 10-round magazine. It's the gun the people want. It seemed to have a decent trigger and was a little pricey but reasonable for what comes from Sig Sauer, I still wanted to shoot but I wasn't as excited as I used to be.

When Sig Sauer offered me the opportunity to get a test pistol, I jumped at it. I was really looking forward to finally scratching that itch and putting the idea that Sig made the gun I want to sleep in. The minute I got the P365, I pulled the trigger and dry fired thinking something was wrong .rice field. Looking again, it looks like a toy! "Yeah, just as I thought this was all hype," I sneered. I was wrong. If I hadn't been able to shoot this at the range, my opinion would probably have been different. In dry shooting conditions the trigger is very strange but on the range this little gun is like a dream Does this bring us to the question or can it replace my G26.

A lot of people compare the P365 to the G43, but I think the G26 is actually better. The standard round numbers are the same, the sizes are pretty close, and the weights are similar - the Sig is definitely thinner, and at 0.25 pounds not fully loaded, it certainly has the upper hand in concealment Wear department. P365 is almost too small. It is the first gun in this category that actually likes to have a pink extension in the magazine.

As for the shoot, Sig did everything perfectly. I have run hollow points, brass cases, steel cases and subsonics with no problem. In fact, I had some problems with the light primer strikes of the G26 (which is unusual). The Sig Sauer P365 shoots very well and the trigger issue magically disappears during live fire. I wish I could explain how or why they are different, but I can't. During live fire, we know that P365 is really fun to shoot, especially for a gun this size.

The P365 has a smaller viewing radius than the 26, but the included night sight is easy to pick up and very accurate. We hit C-Zone size targets at 20-25 yards. The night vision gives a wonderful glow even in the dark. They are certainly a step up from the G26 stock plastic sights (mine upgraded the Ameriglo fiberglass sights).

I have carried my Sig every day for almost 3 months and it was sent to me as a demo gun, but I am planning to buy one. It probably won't replace my G26 and the reason is about the modularity of the Glock. My G26 takes all the magazines from the larger framed Glock and the holsters do all the work. For me that is very important. But if you were to ask whether the P365 or the G26 was your first concealed carry gun, you'd have a hard time choosing.

There are a few things about Sig that I don't like. First is the price. At just under $600 MSRP, the Sig is actually competitively priced with a new Glock 26, but you can pick up a used G26 for much less. This should smooth out over time, but Sig is currently more expensive. This leads me to my second issue. It is a spare magazine. Sig magazines are expensive, about $43. You can get 2-4 magazines for your Glock for that price, and depending on what you get, it may work with the G19. The lack of a spare magazine makes it difficult to use at the range or if you want to take a class on the Sig.

I think Sig did a pretty good job with this gun. I haven't sold many of their other handguns yet, but this is a very solid option for concealed carry. The interchangeability and similarity of the Glock line is still an advantage in my opinion, but the Shield For anyone looking for something like considering the or G43. , I think it's up to you to give the P365 a chance. I met one. He showed us his collection – including a Chinese-made AK-47 clone (marked as Norinco), a Rock Island Armory 1911 style and a .22 TCM pistol, a Glock 26 Gen4, and an obscure semi-auto pistol. It looked so bitter that I didn't even bother to check it.

It was his latest acquisition that caught my attention. The subcompact S&W M&P9, he said, is the second generation in the Smith & Wesson M&P pistol series. I wow it looks like a Glock and has a "generation" too - another Glock rip off!

In the past I have been very vocal about not liking plastic guns, nothing special I think.

Although I love S&W Magnum revolvers (especially pre-lock revolvers) and am a huge Jerry Miculek fan, I dislike Smith & Wesson as a firearms manufacturer. Explain why (at least among gun rights advocates). So why am I writing this article?

I mean, Glocks are ugly, and this Glock-like clone from Smith & Wesson is no beauty queen either - it looks a little more balanced compared to the Glock 26, but the officer-sized 1911 is just a few miles away from both of them is the aesthetics department. I don't like plastic guns in general.

Well, I'm writing this because my brother-in-law and his friend had an hour-long debate about which gun was better. Above all, better ergonomics (and like me, he doesn't like the Glock either).

A friend of his thinks that the M&P M2.0 is a great acquisition, but Glocks is the first plastic handgun and ultimately everything (he obviously never heard of the H&K VP70, but the tech In the sense, he is right - Glock makes plastic Handguns a phenomenon today), which makes Glock an authority. That, and Glock is reliable and perfect, and so on.

I've done the research and given them (and any readers who may be considering getting either of these two pistols as a CCW piece) an unbiased pistol enthusiast perspective (I'm opting out because I don't like them both), I could help a little.

My Baby Glock 26. First Glock I Owned. Priceless To Me!

If you went through all the figures in the table above, you would have noticed that the bore axis measurements for the M&P9 are missing. Because I looked everywhere online and even spoke to a certain Wayne from Smith & Wesson customer service. More on this later.

In 1995, Glock began producing models Glock 26 and Glock 27. Both are almost identical subcompact pistols, differing only in caliber. But slow .40 S&W.

A year later, both pistols were introduced in the United States and became some of the most popular plastics
