glock 26 vs glock 43x

Glock 26 Vs Glock 43x - Take a side-by-side look at two popular Glock options for concealed carry – the G26 and G43.

If you've decided to buy a Baby Glock, you're not alone. The company's subcompact models are especially popular with concealed carriers. However, a heated debate continues between the Glock 26 and the Glock 26. Glock 43. Both models have a lot to offer, especially in the concealment and reliability department.

While we probably can't end this argument here, we'll focus on the specs so you can make an informed decision about which 9mm polymer small pistol is best for you.

Glock 43x: The Ultimate Concealed Carry Gun?

Even on paper, the differences between these two subcompact pistols are minimal. The biggest difference is the way the cartridges are stacked in the magazine.

The G43 has single stack magazines. Single stack logs are placed in one vertical column.

The G26 has a double stack magazine. Double-stack magazines store their rounds in a sort of back-and-forth zigzag pattern. Cartridges are placed in two columns. The upper cartridges of each column are fed into the firearm chamber in turn. The design makes the magazine (and the gun that holds it) wider than a single stack. However, the double-stack configuration holds more rounds in a shorter area, holding about 1 ½ times more cartridges in the same vertical slot.

The G26 and G43 are very similar in length and height. The G26 is slightly longer, wider and heavier, but not significantly so. The most notable size difference is the width. A quarter inch may not seem like much, but it can make a big difference in effective concealment. The slimmer profile allows the G43 to easily disappear under almost anything in your wardrobe, especially a good IWB holster.

While both pistols are fairly easy to conceal, the G43's slimmer dimensions make it perfect for pocket carry. However, due to the Glock's light trigger pull and lack of external safety, it's foolish to stick it in your pocket without a proper holster.

The G43's grip is 0.24 inches narrower. However, thanks to the extra 0.08 inches of length, it provides a bit more real estate to grip. If that doesn't seem like much, you're right.

Given that the average human pinky is about 0.3 inches wide, an additional 0.08 inches of grip height will still knock most people's pinkies under the grip. Fortunately, pink extension magazines are available for both models, but every inch you add to these firearms reduces their concealability, which is actually their best feature.

Which grip is better? It's mostly a matter of opinion. There are many articles online that claim that the narrow frame of the single stack makes it easier for small hands to handle. Most of those articles were written by men with big legs. The truth is, shooters with small hands benefit from having something substantial to grip. Neither the G43 nor the G26's grip is too large for someone with small hands to handle. In fact, the G43's slim dimensions may make it difficult for some shooters (regardless of hand size) to maintain a firm, confident grip. The single stack tends to slip in the hands of some shooters during shooting, especially when they are sweating.

Glock 26 Mos?

Whether a small woman has hands or palms and fingers, small weapons are more difficult to control. Putting a smaller grip on an already difficult firearm only adds to the difficulty.

But here's the deal: Every shooter is different. The best way to find out if a grip is right for you is to try it out thoroughly. Do the test drive in the field, not in the salon. Just because a gun "feels good in your hand" in the shop doesn't mean you can maintain a proper grip over several shots. Retraction can change the basic grip game.

The advantage of the G26 is that it accepts both Glock 19 and Glock 17 magazines, which can be a practical advantage on the range. It also means you can take the G26 with you as a backup. If your primary weapon is a G17 or G19, you can share a backup weapon with your backup weapon.

Since the G26 holds four more rounds than the G43, it is also slightly heavier. That four-round G26 weighs just over 26 ounces. That's still only 6 ounces more than a fully loaded G43.

However, the extra six ounces can help absorb some of the sharp recoil micro pistols are known for. Because of their shorter barrel length, subcompact handguns require more effort to maintain control, especially for novice shooters. While both Glocks are relatively easy to handle, the extra weight (and extra grip width) gives the G26 a slight advantage in recoil control.

Both can be easily concealed by the average shooter, though the slimmer profile of the G43 provides a slight advantage if you're looking for a deep concealment backup pistol.

Glock has settled the debate about which model is better by always offering new models. This debate is no different, and Glock's attempt to solve it is the G43X.

Glock 26 Vs Glock 43x

Basically a Glock 43 to a Glock 26 capacity, the G43X has a slightly wider (1.2-inch) frame and slightly more grip room, making it similar to the Glock 19, but in a slimmer, single-stack configuration. This gives it a slimmer profile than the G26 with the same magazine capacity (10 plus 1).

Vanguard 2 Standard Kit

This means it's as stealthy as the G43, but offers a few extra twists that could save your life in a dangerous situation.

The "best" firearm is the one you can shoot the most. However, balancing stealth and firepower was quite difficult. Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself which gun best suits your needs, and the absolute best way to do that is to shoot it.

It's also important that small shooters don't fall into the trap of choosing a small pistol just because they're small. While Baby Glocks are absolutely adorable, they aren't as easy to shoot as their siblings, the Glock 19 and Glock 17. While micro pistols are incredibly easy to conceal for anyone, you still need a gun that allows you to get your gun. quick and effective strikes on the target when necessary. A bigger gun will help you better than a smaller gun in almost every situation.
